Debunked — The Sikhism Series

The claims made about Sikhi, and the claims Sikhs make about themselves — each one traced to its source, tested against Gurbani and the historical record, and answered in plain language.

This series is about my own house. I am a Sikh, and loving the tradition does not require defending every claim attached to it. The complete thirteen parts examine identity, the Gurus, the Khalsa, scripture, other texts, daily discipline, caste and women, Sikh states, colonial reform, Partition, 1984, and claims about science and health. Each part has ten claims and five explanatory steps per claim. The conclusion distinguishes what is supported, disputed, unverified or a matter of religious commitment. Parts 1–3 retain their original main text, with a visible editorial note: Part 13 corrects an earlier scripture attribution and qualifies categorical statements about stories whose literal details have not been established. The original three-part PDF remains available as an archive. The 268-page complete edition adds those corrections, clickable contents, all remaining parts and named sources. The completion was researched and published on 5 October 2026; each source keeps its own date.
