Reservation Hatao Andolan appeared online almost overnight and gathered an audience of millions. Supporters called it a long-overdue demand for equal rules and merit. Critics called it an attempt to erase the history and present reality of caste. Before deciding who is right, I wanted to know what the movement actually is, who speaks for it, what it demands, what millions of followers really prove, and which claims survive checking.
